About This Role
- Design and implement local and wide-area network solutions across multiple platforms and protocols to support customer business needs.
- Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with vendors for installation of network hardware and software including routers and switches.
- Conduct project planning, cost analysis, build proof-of-concept solutions, and ensure project requirements are effectively communicated and met.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in network support, configuration, and implementation including core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.
- Experience in networking and security architecture and engineering across local, regional, and global domains.
- Ability to independently manage multiple IT projects and deadlines.
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years as explicitly stated in the JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex network environments including application centric infrastructure (ACI), software-defined networking (SDN), and data center deployments.
- Skilled with advanced network protocols and technologies like BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP, EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC.
- Capable of delivering end-to-end network technical solutions and aligning network services with customer business objectives.
