About This Role
- Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready backend services focused on scalability, reliability, and performance using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement solutions meeting business and technical requirements within the OneTru data management ecosystem.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and drive continuous improvement including integration of emerging technologies like AI/ML.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable, cloud-native services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud services; familiarity with Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, CI/CD pipelines (Harness), and source control tools (Git/Gerrit).
- Hybrid work setup requiring minimum two days per week onsite at assigned TransUnion office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in backend development within enterprise-scale, data management ecosystems handling cloud-native and microservices architectures.
- Demonstrates strong ownership with proactive contributions to architecture and code quality practices in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity or interest in integrating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities to enhance product functionality is a strong plus.
