About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain OS components including device drivers, hardware abstraction layers, and OS services.
- Optimize software subsystems focusing on performance, power management, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with Intel's silicon architecture and address OS and platform challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4+ years OS development experience OR Master's with 3+ years experience.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with OS internals, hardware abstraction layers, or driver development.
- Knowledge of Android runtime and compilers; Exposure to Android tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in OS development with strong software architecture and optimization skills.
- Familiar with virtualization, containerization, networking protocols, and graphics/media user space components.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to advance Intel’s hardware-software integration innovations.
