About This Role
- Lead deployment, integration, commissioning, upgrade, and migration of IP/MPLS and Optical networks with minimal customer impact.
- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation including LLD, NDD, DCN designs, network diagrams, and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot IP, Optical, hardware, software, and NMS issues, support RCA activities, and identify automation and network optimization opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in IP, Optical, Telecom, or Network Engineering.
- Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, SDH, Long-Haul and Metro Optical networks; protocols including DCN, OSPF, ISIS, BGP; and Network Management Systems.
- Experience in network deployment, commissioning, upgrades, migrations, and hands-on telecom/network equipment troubleshooting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver network modernization projects.
- Ability to translate high-level designs (HLD) into detailed implementations with precision and minimal error.
- Familiarity with automation tools and basic Python scripting to support process improvement and network optimization.
