About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java application features with accountability for code quality and security remediation.
- Independently manage security vulnerability identification, analysis, and fixes, ensuring validation and approvals before production deployment.
- Coordinate, own, and support end-to-end production releases including testing, risk assessment, approvals, and post-deployment verification.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development.
- Good working knowledge of Core Java, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production release management.
- Ability to analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities in Java applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leveraging AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, and security while independently validating AI-generated outputs.
- Capable of independently designing comprehensive test cases including negative and edge scenarios and assessing change impacts.
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple teams including US-based teams and managing release documentation, risk, and change management approvals.
