About This Role
- Lead and manage a team of Triage Analysts in Pune, responsible for delivering high-quality vulnerability assessments to clients.
- Oversee operational processes ensuring validation accuracy, efficiency, SLA compliance, and continuous workflow improvements.
- Manage team scheduling across multiple shifts/time zones and act as escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with stakeholders for smooth vulnerability report handling.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant corporate experience with at least 2 years in people management, preferably in security domain.
- Strong understanding of web application security, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), and basic security tools like Burp Suite.
- Ability to manage distributed or shift-based teams with experience handling KPIs and operational metrics.
- Must be willing and able to work from the HackerOne Pune office 4-5 days per week; visa/work permit sponsorship not available.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in vulnerability triage, bug bounty, or web application security domain with familiarity or understanding of hacker/researcher ecosystems.
- Proven leadership in managing and developing security-focused teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Operates effectively in fast-paced environments requiring empathy-based influence, strong decision-making, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
