About This Role
- Design and own core platform capabilities such as plugin/extension systems, agent orchestration engines, and semantic/data abstraction layers to enable AI product teams with minimal platform involvement.
- Architect and implement multi-step, parallel, cross-domain agentic workflows powered by large language models, ensuring correctness, reliability, and security controls including access and tenant isolation.
- Establish and uphold platform standards including latency SLAs, throughput, data isolation, observability, explainability, and enforce architectural dependency rules; mentor engineers and lead design reviews to promote platform thinking.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with significant depth in platform, infrastructure, or foundational systems (not just application development).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area with 4 years of experience; OR 6 years experience without degree.
- Proficiency in Python and experience designing/shipping production LLM-based systems involving agent orchestration, multi-step reasoning, or structured output generation.
- Location: Bangalore office (India) for daily work; flexible work arrangement mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced platform engineer with a strong understanding of distributed systems, extensible plugin architectures, and multi-tenant data isolation and access control.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of AI/ML and software engineering, having shipped LLM-based large-scale systems with considerations for latency, throughput, fault tolerance, and security.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams, enforce engineering standards, and build reusable infrastructure serving multiple internal product teams.
