About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions including complex SQL and PL/pgSQL procedures.
- Lead and execute Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects, converting stored procedures, packages, and queries.
- Analyze and optimize database performance, implement backup/recovery strategies, and troubleshoot production database issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years experience in PostgreSQL database development.
- Proven experience with Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Location requirement: Bangalore or Pune; Immediate joining required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling large-scale database migration and performance optimization projects.
- Comfortable working with Agile and DevOps methodologies indicating collaboration with development teams.
- Capable of independently managing database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and troubleshooting in production environments.
