About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java application features with strong emphasis on security vulnerability remediation and AI-assisted code review.
- Own production release management including coordination, risk assessment, stakeholder approvals, and post-deployment support.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing (including negative and edge cases), validate AI-generated code and security fixes, and ensure release readiness with clear evidence.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with security vulnerability analysis and remediation in Java applications.
- Location flexibility for Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, or Chennai with hybrid work (2 days per week from office).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing end-to-end production release cycles and coordinating with multiple teams including US-based operations.
- Skilled in AI-assisted development tools with capability to independently verify and validate AI-generated code and security fixes.
- Strong judgment in risk assessment, change management, and ensuring secure, compliant software delivery.
