About This Role
- Own reliability, performance, and scalability of Finance systems using Microsoft SQL Server and .NET technology.
- Design, develop, and optimize backend services, APIs, ETL pipelines, and integrations with ERP, billing, and data warehouse systems to support Finance reporting and month-end close.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to deliver technical solutions including AI-driven automation initiatives to improve accuracy, timeliness, and controls in Finance operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience developing production software with C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core/Workers/Functions).
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server expertise including data modeling, T-SQL, indexing, query tuning, and performance troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in ETL/integrations with tools like SSIS or Azure Data Factory and building RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization knowledge (OAuth/OpenID Connect).
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically strong in backend .NET and SQL Server engineering with experience as a technical SME or escalation point for Finance system issues.
- Experienced in collaborating directly with Finance teams to translate requirements into solutions that impact revenue, royalty calculations, and month-end close processes.
- Familiarity or experience applying AI/LLM tools for business process automation and working with Azure cloud services relevant to Finance systems.
