Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Lead the global rollout and operational execution of the NOVA AI program across four organizations, ensuring AI initiatives meet enterprise scalability and production-readiness standards.
- Drive cross-functional, frontier AI programs including multi-agent architectures and agentification within brand launches from concept to deployment, managing technical feasibility and investment sequencing.
- Maintain a current, actionable understanding of the external AI technology landscape to influence internal AI strategies and accelerate adoption through partnerships with procurement, legal, and security.
Minimum Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, M.Pharm or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in enterprise strategy, transformation, and technology within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or comparable regulated global enterprises, including leading AI initiatives.
- Proven record of delivering AI projects from concept to production at enterprise scale with measurable business impact and deep expertise in AI and generative AI lifecycle and architectures.
- Strong experience in senior technical leadership roles managing cross-functional initiatives within global matrix organizations, with the authority to challenge and redirect executive-sponsored AI work.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior AI leader with deep technical competence (not hands-on engineering) sufficient to evaluate AI feasibility, architecture, and cost-to-scale independently.
- Experienced in managing enterprise AI governance, operational risk, and performance measurement, balancing speed and compliance rigor in regulated environments.
- Skilled in executive communication and influence across global matrix organizations, with proven ability to establish innovation partnerships and compress vendor evaluation processes without compromising risk standards.
