About This Role
- Own and drive complex product vulnerability cases from initial intake to technical resolution and disclosure readiness, ensuring clear documentation and communication.
- Perform hands-on technical analysis to reproduce vulnerabilities, validate exploitability, assess impact, and support remediation efforts across diverse product environments.
- Lead significant technical investigations and collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, tooling, and team capabilities in vulnerability response.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in product security response, application security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, incident response, or related technical domains.
- Strong knowledge of CVE, CWE, CVSS, MITRE, NVD, FIRST standards and coordinated vulnerability disclosure practices.
- Hands-on experience with reproducing vulnerabilities, technical analysis, scripting (Python or similar), and familiarity with CI/CD, APIs, source control, containers, or cloud environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex vulnerability investigations independently across multiple products or technical environments.
- Skilled at leading technical workstreams and coordinating across product engineering, security teams, and external partners without relying on formal authority.
- Proficient in developing automation, improving vulnerability response processes, and mentoring less-experienced team members for capability building.
