About This Role
- Lead data engineering projects end-to-end, owning design, architecture decisions, and coding on key projects.
- Architect and build scalable data infrastructure including ETL/ELT pipelines and advanced database solutions on Oracle Cloud, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Set engineering standards, drive CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code adoption, run sprint planning, manage timelines, and coordinate across multiple teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years in data engineering, database development, or related technical area.
- 3+ years experience leading or managing engineering teams with proven mentoring ability.
- Deep expertise in Oracle cloud databases including PL/SQL and performance tuning.
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.), Python, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader comfortable splitting time between hands-on coding and project leadership.
- Strong background in cloud-native data engineering with Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, and advanced database tuning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced integrated delivery environment.
