About This Role
- Manage end-to-end preparation and review of client financial statements, portfolio schedules, and mandatory regulatory filings within strict deadlines.
- Lead coordination between internal teams and global offshoring partners to ensure delivery and resolution of accounting issues and client queries.
- Oversee staff work quality, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to hiring and disciplinary decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ to 12+ years experience in Mutual Fund/Hedge fund financial reporting, accounting, or finance, including managing staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Economics with specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent; CA/CPA/ACCA or similar professional qualification preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and Mutual Fund structures (standalone, master-feeder, 40 Act funds).
- Willingness to work in shifts overlapping US, APAC, and EMEA hours for training and operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex mutual fund financial reporting processes with strong regulatory and audit compliance understanding.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams across geographies with effective coordination between offshore and onshore units.
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting automation tools and a proactive approach to risk management in production processes.
