About This Role
- Own the technical leadership and system architecture definition for new product development and sustenance projects in electromechanical/electronic security products.
- Lead coordination of technical program execution including system integration across electrical, software, firmware, and mechanical components to ensure successful product launch.
- Manage product design lifecycle from requirements definition, trade-offs, technical reviews, compliance documentation to mentoring team members and problem-solving production issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in electronic/electromechanical product design and development.
- Experience with embedded systems design including RTOS, 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers, wired (RS232, One-wire) and wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi).
- Demonstrated experience in requirements management, SDLC processes, and compliance testing (CE, FCC, Safety).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical leader able to handle end-to-end product design and systems integration for complex security hardware products.
- Strong in managing cross-functional programs and making design trade-offs balancing performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
- Experienced in mentoring engineers and interfacing with international clients and cross-functional teams to communicate technical status and resolve issues.
