About This Role
- Lead and deliver comprehensive QA efforts including automation, functional, regression, integration, data, API, and Salesforce testing.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of AI tools in testing, including building prompt libraries, embedding AI in CI/CD, and managing AI-enabled feature testing with risk controls.
- Mentor and guide QA team members, contribute to test strategy, defect management, and participate actively in Agile Scrum processes including planning and code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years experience as Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with AI testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Copado AI) and AI risk governance.
- Availability to work UK business hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building test automation frameworks from scratch with expertise across functional, data, API, and Salesforce testing in complex integration environments.
- Proven track record applying AI technologies practically in QA including prompt engineering, CI/CD integration, and risk mitigation for AI-generated tests.
- Comfortable working in Agile Scrum teams with a strong analytical mindset and ability to mentor juniors and improve team QA capabilities.
