About This Role
- Own architecture and technical leadership for multiple backend teams and high-throughput, low-latency Java/Spring Boot services.
- Drive design and implementation of distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and future-proofing as volumes grow.
- Lead complex cross-team technical initiatives from design to rollout, mentoring engineers and aligning work with business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years backend engineering experience with designing large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data), Redis, and Kafka.
- Experience with microservices, REST/gRPC API design, relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years backend engineering experience.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence architectural decisions across multiple engineering teams without direct authority.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies into production backend systems and workflows, including AI coding tools usage.
