About This Role
- Develop and maintain AS400-based financial applications using Cobol, CL, and DB2, focusing on loan, credit card, mortgage, or retail banking domains.
- Provide support and maintenance on existing applications built with CL, SQLCBL, RPGLE, RPG400, and SQLRPGLE including embedded SQL and free-format RPGLE.
- Participate in design and development of new product features while mentoring junior team members and working within Agile methodology.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in AS400 development with strong skills in COBOL, CL, DB2, and RPG development.
- Experience with financial applications involving loans, credit cards, mortgages, or retail banking is preferable.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Immediate joiners preferred; location in Noida or Bangalore.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep expertise in AS400 development environment with proficiency in RPG, Cobol DB2 programming, and OS400 operating systems.
- Background in financial domain applications, especially loans, credit cards, mortgages, or retail banking.
- Experienced in supporting and evolving large legacy financial systems and mentoring junior developers within an Agile environment.
