About This Role
- Own end-to-end infrastructure security and security operations (SOC) for Meesho's cloud environment, including GCP policies, IAM, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipeline security.
- Lead cloud security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and define secure patterns for infrastructure and platform teams.
- Run detection and response functions including SIEM management, alert triage, incident response, and build automation tools for security posture and vulnerability management.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform security with end-to-end ownership in production cloud environments.
- Strong practical experience with GCP security components (IAM, organisation policy, VPC, Cloud KMS, Security Command Center); Kubernetes security expertise (RBAC, network policies, admission control, workload identity, image security).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipeline security, and SIEM operation including detection engineering and incident response.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior individual contributor comfortable with high autonomy, able to operate across cloud architecture, hardening, detection engineering, and incident response.
- Experienced mentor able to elevate junior security engineers and influence platform, SRE, and DevOps teams without direct authority.
- Strong pragmatic judgment regarding risk prioritization at scale in a lean team environment, with excellent communication skills to explain technical risks to varied stakeholders.
