About This Role
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and backend services with accuracy in calculation-heavy, regulated domains such as payroll or finance.
- Design and build scalable, high-integrity backend APIs and data-processing systems using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure cloud PaaS services.
- Incorporate AI-assisted development workflows and AI capabilities like LLM integrations and prompt design into products and development processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally in payroll, HR, finance, compensation, equity, or tax domains.
- Strong skills in backend development with C#, .NET (ASP.NET, WebAPI, MVC) and frontend JavaScript frameworks like Next.js or React (TypeScript).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including PaaS services and operational tooling.
- Experience delivering software in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments handling security, auditability, and sensitive financial or personal data.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building calculation-accurate, audit-friendly enterprise systems in finance or HR-related domains.
- Comfortable integrating and applying AI coding agents and AI-augmented product features within software development.
- Skilled at designing pragmatic, scalable architectures with strong separation of concerns for high-integrity, performance-sensitive applications.
