About This Role
- Prioritize and define external system integrations for GitLab’s Data Insights Platform and Orbit based on customer and product data.
- Shape data mapping and ETL processes to unify external data with GitLab’s code and security data into shared models for cohesive analytics.
- Translate product decisions into engineering backlogs, set telemetry metrics, and guide integration packaging and pricing.
Minimum Requirements
- Product management experience with ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on customer needs.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps ecosystem including planning, security, observability, and IT service management workflows.
- Working understanding of data integration, ETL, and data transformation into common models; deep data engineering background not required.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, India; remote work with occasional office visits.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working on integration products or data models within analytics or software development ecosystems.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools for prototyping and documentation in product development.
- Operates with data-driven decision making and close engineering collaboration in a remote and asynchronous work environment.
