- Review and approve engineering tasks covering reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, process simulation, and more, validating computational models, solver accuracy, and evaluation quality.
- Manage task delivery quality, provide technical feedback, maintain documentation, and escalate issues to ensure consistent, reproducible, and high-quality engineering content.
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D., postdoctoral or equivalent experience) in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Julia, C/C++, or MATLAB/Octave, with proficiency in Linux environments.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one area: process modeling, reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, process simulation, or optimization.
- Work Experience Required: Not explicitly mentioned in the JD. Must be available at least 40 hours per week with 4 hours overlap in PST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has deep expertise in chemical engineering fundamentals and computational modeling, including numerical methods and solver validation.
- Experienced in reviewing complex chemical engineering simulations and providing rigorous technical feedback on mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, and numerical convergence.
- Comfortable leading and mentoring small technical teams with strong written communication skills to document and enforce quality standards.
