About This Role
- Design, maintain, and optimize secure container base images and platform components in Kubernetes and OpenStack environments.
- Lead container vulnerability management, including identifying CVEs, evaluating severity, patch workflows, and validating security fixes.
- Build automated pipelines using Python, Docker, and CI/CD tools to scan, validate, and test container images through their lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.
- Proven experience with Docker/Podman and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.
- Solid Linux troubleshooting skills in container runtimes, networking, storage, and resource management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in container security practices including vulnerability scanning, CVE triage, and image lifecycle management.
- Comfortable integrating security and build automation into modern CI/CD pipelines with Python scripting.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants to accelerate development and debugging processes.
