About This Role
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, risk management, applications development, and oversee all phases of the development lifecycle including design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) advising senior stakeholders and coaching junior analysts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software development.
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, Angular or similar frameworks, Oracle, JUnit, and SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications; knowledge of IT project management and consulting techniques.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing and managing applications in financial services, preferably with knowledge of the asset servicing domain.
- Ability to perform independently with limited supervision and exercise sound judgment and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting, caching solutions, messaging mechanisms like Kafka, and exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Docker is a plus.
