About This Role
- Review and investigate AML Transaction Monitoring alerts at Level 2, identifying suspicious activity and determining case resolutions or escalations.
- Prepare investigation narratives and SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) supporting documentation adhering to client procedures and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with QA, team leads, compliance teams, and clients to ensure quality, process calibration, and support process improvements by analyzing alert trends and control weaknesses.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of experience in AML Transaction Monitoring, financial crime investigations, or compliance operations.
- Hands-on experience reviewing Transaction Monitoring System alerts and conducting Level 2 investigations with escalation decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of AML red flags, transaction typologies, customer risk indicators, and SAR/STR escalation processes.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts or client-aligned schedules if required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling complex AML investigations involving high-risk customers and unusual transaction patterns in a compliance operations environment.
- Proficient in preparing clear, evidence-based investigative narratives and meeting defined operational targets (productivity, quality, SLA).
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders including QA, compliance teams, and clients for process adherence and improvements.
