About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain platform-level software components related to system software, operating systems, networking, and hardware-software integration.
- Analyze technical requirements and lead debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex platform and software issues.
- Lead engineering projects including system integration, performance optimization, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- 4–8 years of relevant engineering experience in platform engineering, hardware engineering, embedded systems, or system software development.
- Strong knowledge of C, C++, Python, operating systems (Linux/Unix), and familiarity with hardware components such as I2C, PCIe, Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, FPGA, NVMe, CPU, GPIO, Serdes, Optics, or Transceiver.
- Onsite work location at HPE office in India as explicitly stated.
