About This Role
- Manage retirement operations tasks including review and processing of retirement account distributions, transfers, rollovers, and contributions within established turnaround time and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax withholding rules and proper documentation such as Forms W-4R, W-4P, and IRS 1099-R codes.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to identify discrepancies, escalate exceptions, and maintain operational controls.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in retirement operations within wealth management, brokerage, or financial services operations.
- Working knowledge of retirement account types (Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, Rollover IRA, SEP, SIMPLE IRAs, 401(k), 403(b)) and associated tax withholding regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or related field from an accredited university.
- Location: Hyderabad, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience supporting wealth management or broker-dealer clients in middle or back office roles, indicating familiarity with operational processes.
- Strong understanding of retirement-specific regulations such as RMDs, Roth conversions, early distribution rules, and IRS 1099-R and 5498 reporting.
- Comfortable using workflow, case management, custodial platforms, and proficient in Microsoft Excel for data validation and reporting.
