About This Role
- Manage and modernize enterprise-scale database environments across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructures including SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Spanner.
- Design, maintain, and optimize high availability, disaster recovery, and security strategies for business continuity and compliance.
- Automate database platform operations and perform cloud migrations with a focus on performance engineering and troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience managing Microsoft SQL Server (2016 through 2022+).
- 3+ years production experience administering Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, related field OR 5 years software engineering experience.
- Work Experience Required: At least 3 years in software engineering or related area per minimum qualifications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep technical expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL platforms with hands-on automation skills in PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Experience operating large-scale, enterprise database platforms in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with DevOps and developers to optimize database schemas and application performance.
