About This Role
- Design and build highly scalable, loosely coupled, event-driven distributed systems using Java and Kafka.
- Lead software engineering practices including agile process adoption, software development, testing (TDD/BDD), DevOps, and cloud migration (AWS).
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and cloud technologies within the team, ensuring production service accountability.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on experience as a Software Engineer with Java 8/11/17 and frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Microservices architecture and messaging services, preferably Kafka (on-premise or cloud).
- Experience delivering cloud-based products/services on AWS or Azure.
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading and guiding technical teams through agile methodology and engineering best practices.
- Proficient in modern design patterns and architectures such as Event Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and CQRS.
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform is preferred but not mandatory.
