About This Role
- Design, develop, and build Kong's API Operations toolset, including the open-source CLI 'deck' and related SDKs.
- Shape the technical direction and roadmap for API Operations tools, integrating features from multiple API runtimes (HTTP, AI, Event gateways).
- Enable CLI tools for both human and automation use cases and collaborate closely with product leadership to align engineering and business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience building high-performance software with Golang.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Prior experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and API development/standardization.

- Experienced in managing API workflows and standardizing APIs in large organizations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced startup environment requiring high velocity and impact.
