About This Role
- Manage end-to-end fixed assets accounting process in SAP including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities with reconciliations and reporting for fixed assets.
- Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and support transition planning and team mentorship.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA/MCom/CA(IPCC)/CMA Inter preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting or general ledger.
- Proficiency in SAP Asset Accounting module and strong Excel skills; experience with Blackline is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles; ability to maintain compliance with SOX and internal controls.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with fixed assets lifecycle accounting within SAP and capable of handling full ownership for assigned entities.
- Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams and respond to month-end close cycle demands (5–7 days period).
- Demonstrates leadership through mentoring, supporting team transitions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
