About This Role
- Own the technical assessment, architecture, and delivery of an AI-powered two-way voice conversational application for training insurance agents.
- Develop and integrate frontend (TypeScript/React), backend (Python or Node.js), and AI speech/LLM services into configurable, versioned learning scenarios with scoring and reporting.
- Manage LMS integration, usage controls, security, reliability, deployment, testing, and handover documentation for the voice-based training solution.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience with proven delivery of conversational or two-way voice applications involving spoken interaction.
- Strong frontend skills in TypeScript and React or comparable framework; backend experience in Python (FastAPI) or Node.js with TypeScript.
- Experience integrating real-time speech-to-speech or combination speech recognition, language models, and speech synthesis AI services.
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience; role is fully remote within India with US business hours collaboration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven technical ownership of voice-based conversational products with understanding of architecture, latency, interruption handling, failure recovery, and cost management.
- Experienced full stack engineer comfortable across frontend, backend, AI integrations, and LMS platform integration.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into testable features, communicate trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and deliver robust production systems.
