About This Role
- Lead credit underwriting operations for commercial banking by assessing creditworthiness of large corporate clients through detailed financial analysis and risk evaluation.
- Prepare credit reports and assess credit risk including cash flow and enterprise valuation models to support loan approval decisions.
- Manage client portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain relationships with onshore account managers and senior stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: BCom or MCom degree.
- Experience: 7 to 11 years in Commercial Banking Credit Underwriting or related credit analysis.
- Skills: Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit rating, cash flow modeling, and enterprise valuation.
- Work environment: Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in credit review and appraisal with strong knowledge of capital structure, EBITDA, leverage ratios, and credit platforms (e.g., SP Capital IQ, Moody's Credit Edge).
- Capable of managing small teams or work efforts and handling moderately complex problem-solving independently.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and interpreting strategic directions from senior management.
