About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic on mainframe systems and refactor legacy code to integrate with modern cloud and mobile applications.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, end-to-end, API, and performance test scenarios, including load, stress, and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines ensuring quality gates, manage defects, and collaborate across engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 10–15 years of QA/Test Automation experience with hands-on expertise in functional, regression, automation, API/integration, and performance testing in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# and automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium; experience with REST Assured/Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling/k6, Git, CI/CD, SQL, and test management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MCA, or related field.
- Knowledge of web, mobile, accessibility, security testing including OWASP and SAST/DAST concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in QA automation within complex mainframe modernization or cloud-native environments, with demonstrated skill in integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong technical skill set in multiple programming languages and automation/performance testing tools, aligned with Agile/DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with AI quality engineering concepts or experience in BFSI, retail, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors with relevant QA or cloud certifications preferred.
