About This Role
- Lead data privacy compliance by conducting gap assessments and audits against global regulations like GDPR, DPDPA, and CCPA/CPRA.
- Develop and implement privacy policies, data governance frameworks, and technical safeguards such as encryption and access controls.
- Advise on privacy impact assessments, manage third-party privacy evaluations, prepare RoPA documentation, and provide training on data protection compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA, Law, InfoSec) preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of international privacy laws (GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA) and technical privacy controls (encryption, pseudonymization, access management).
- Work Experience Required: 4-8 years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in conducting privacy gap analyses, privacy impact assessments, and compliance audits in multinational regulatory environments.
- Skilled in technical privacy solutions and vendor management to enforce data protection measures.
- Comfortable advising on legal and technical aspects of privacy in a consulting role, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
