About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of distributed, fault-tolerant, high-scale data platform and pipelines processing hundreds of thousands of events per second.
- Drive technical vision and architectural decisions balancing cost, performance, and reliability for Twilio Segment's core data platform.
- Prototype and integrate AI/LLM technologies to solve complex data processing challenges within the platform.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 12+ years of programming experience.
- Deep experience with high-scale messaging/streaming systems and distributed processing handling several thousand events/sec minimum.
- Must reside in one of these Indian states: Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Expertise in designing and scaling cloud-native, composable distributed systems and services with rigorous operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience with Go or similar concurrent/object-oriented languages and addressing performance bottlenecks.
- Proven ability to align and communicate complex technical strategies across cross-functional and distributed teams involving engineering, product, and architecture stakeholders.
