About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and validate SAS9 middle tier platform and services on Windows and Unix platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts including creating test plans and strategies to identify defects.
- Automate deployment processes and administer databases (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SAS) and operating systems (Linux, Windows, Unix).
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience administrating Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Proficient in Java, Shell scripting, and Python for automation.
- Mandatory skills include testing of SAS9 products, debugging complex software, DBMS administration, and knowledge of security principles like FIPS, TLS, certificates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Capable of independently supporting, installing, and configuring test environments for multiple projects involving legacy large software products.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with familiarity in enterprise security applications (IVIA/WebSeal, SiteMinder, IWA).
- Experience with continuous deployment infrastructure and use of AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude code).
