About This Role
- Own the technical architecture and delivery quality of applications in Citi's Corporate Tax technology portfolio, focusing on Java backend and React frontend.
- Lead design, deployment, and scalability strategies including containerization via Kubernetes/OpenShift and Oracle SQL database optimization.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, enforce engineering standards, and collaborate with business and support teams for release planning and risk management.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in Java Full Stack application development or software architecture with team leadership.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React or JSF, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, and container orchestration using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience Required: 10-15 years in relevant full stack application development or architecture.

- Experienced technical leader skilled in both frontend and backend full stack development within enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to drive architectural decisions, lead modernization initiatives (e.g., migrating JSF to React), and enforce code quality and automation standards.
