About This Role
- Lead compliance assessments and audits across data center and cloud environments, managing evidence through Blackbaud’s compliance repository.
- Partner with technical and security teams to identify compliance gaps, evaluate risks, and develop remediation strategies for regulatory and industry standards like PCI DSS and SOC.
- Guide design and operation of controls protecting sensitive information systems and document improvements based on lessons learned and new compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in compliance including audits and assessments.
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS and SOC requirements.
- Technical understanding of data center and cloud-hosted environments; familiarity with security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, multi-factor authentication, cryptography, and platform security.
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems and evidence-management processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in translating complex compliance and regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls and procedures.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with security operations, risk management, and technical teams to enforce compliance and remediate risks.
- Comfortable working with both cloud and traditional data center environments and evaluating software for compliance alignment.
