About This Role
- Lead security engineering for AI product initiatives spanning design, implementation, deployment, and production support in regulated healthcare environments.
- Design and build secure AI-enabled applications and reusable platform capabilities, incorporating identity, data protection, authorization, observability, privacy, and compliance controls.
- Develop and automate security patterns, conduct threat modeling, secure infrastructures and pipelines, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, etc).
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in software/security/platform/DevSecOps engineering with hands-on production system responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field required.
- Hands-on experience securing AI-enabled applications including agents, MCP, RAG, or AI app security.
- Ability to work US Eastern Time core hours (9 AM to 5 PM ET), Monday to Friday (role is remote; Pune-based).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and securing AI applications under healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, GDPR, etc).
- Strong Python and cloud security background (AWS preferred) with infrastructure as code (Terraform) expertise and familiarity with graph/vector databases (Neo4j or equivalent).
- Skilled at collaborating with senior engineers and product stakeholders to balance rapid delivery with robust security engineering in high-trust environments.
