About This Role
- Lead design, development, and maintenance of data engineering applications supporting a multi-billion-dollar advertising platform.
- Architect backend solutions and translate product requirements into technical specifications while championing AI integration in data engineering.
- Mentor junior developers, enforce coding standards, monitor systems proactively, and collaborate across global engineering and data science teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years' software engineering experience; OR Master's degree with 1 year experience; OR 5 years software engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks including Spark, Hive, BigQuery, Java, and Python.
- Experience with production/non-production environment setup in public/private cloud and solid Linux system troubleshooting skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader capable of managing end-to-end data engineering projects impacting large-scale advertising and marketing platforms.
- Strong technical expertise in distributed, multi-tier data architectures with hands-on proficiency in cloud environments and AI application in data engineering.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, and global engineering teams and effectively mentor junior developers.
