About This Role
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for product design changes, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mid-Life Development (MLD).
- Responsible for cross-functional team leadership across Engineering, Marketing, Quality & Reliability, Operations, and Suppliers to meet project scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, manage vendor interfaces, and ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones, reporting status to senior management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- 15+ years of work experience in relevant project/program management roles.
- Strong technical background in R&D engineering disciplines (electronics, software, mechanics).
- Office-based role with full-time onsite presence required at Pune location.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing multidisciplinary R&D projects with cross-functional stakeholder engagement including supplier and subcontract management.
- Demonstrates strong people management and leadership capabilities, including team building and coaching.
- Familiarity with project management standards (PMP certification desirable) and quality systems with ability to handle cultural differences in global teams.
