About This Role
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning solutions to address business problems and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Lead model development lifecycle including validation, tuning, interpretability, and robustness, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
- Manage and mentor junior team members while collaborating with stakeholders to explain model assumptions, outputs and limitations.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in data science or related fields.
- Strong experience with machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and anomaly detection.
- Proficiency in Python for data science, SQL, and PySpark/Databricks or similar distributed data environments.
- Numerical degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working with large and complex datasets involving feature engineering and data preparation at scale.
- Comfortable applying MLOps practices including deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of models.
- Familiarity with financial data or actuarial analytics environments, with ability to produce audit-ready documentation and align models to business decisions.
