About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated API and UI test frameworks and suites for RESTful services and Angular applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps, developers, architects, and product teams to improve quality and test coverage.
- Apply and explore Generative AI technologies to enhance test generation, automation efficiency, intelligent defect analysis, and maintain QA lifecycle improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA from full-time education (no correspondence courses).
- 5-8 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience with strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience with API automation testing for RESTful services, UI automation using Selenium, ReadyAPI or equivalent API testing tools, and Taiko or similar browser automation tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments and CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and owning scalable API and UI automation frameworks for complex enterprise applications in cloud-native environments.
- Familiar with modern development stacks (.NET Core backends, Angular frontends) and comfortable influencing test strategy including shift-left practices and defect prevention.
- Proactively applies emerging technology such as Generative AI in QA to advance automation efficiency, risk-based testing, and continuous improvement in software quality delivery.
