About This Role
- Ensure accurate and timely production and analysis of daily T+1 P&L, including variance investigation and commentary to traders and senior finance managers.
- Manage break investigation and resolution for model vs actual (ledger), cash, FO/MO systems vs trade documentation, and balance sheet substantiation in line with MRP policy.
- Perform month-end close activities, quality assurance of processes, engage with Change the Bank/SME for change delivery, and interact with global stakeholders and auditors.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in core accounting function recommended.
- Strong understanding of financial market products (Bonds, Loans, Equities, Derivatives).
- Competent in MS Office, especially Excel and Access; knowledge of SAP and programming skills helpful but SAP must be learned quickly.
- Location required: Mumbai, India.
