About This Role
- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Ruby on Rails specifically for P4 DAM product.
- Lead Rails upgrades, security patching, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable enterprise software delivery.
- Collaborate across Product, DevOps, QA, Support, and UI teams while participating in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years of professional backend development experience with strong hands-on Ruby and Ruby on Rails skills.
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Linux, Docker/docker-compose, PostgreSQL or SQL databases, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and test frameworks such as RSpec.
- Proven ability to independently implement features, upgrades, security patches, and perform debugging and root cause analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer comfortable owning end-to-end development and release cycles for enterprise-level software.
- Has deep expertise in Ruby on Rails including upgrades, dependency management, security, and performance optimization.
- Able to influence architectural decisions and drive process improvements in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
