About This Role
- Design and develop automation testing frameworks using Java, Selenium, and BDD with Cucumber for UI and API testing.
- Define testing strategy, write and execute automation and manual test scripts, report defects using Jira, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate leadership within the WPG Billing and Invoicing team in a global payments environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), Selenium, API testing tools (Soap UI, Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate), and automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with BDD and Cucumber, Agile methodology, and automation tools like Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of payment domain and experience in AWS/microservices testing environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and creating test automation frameworks from scratch using Page Object Model and data-driven approaches.
- Able to collaborate effectively with QA and development teams and handle cross-functional stakeholder communications.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with end-to-end automation and proactive quality initiatives in a global payments context.
