About This Role
- Manage multiple IT Quality teams or functional areas, overseeing performance, budgeting, and resource planning for software testing initiatives including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and software quality assurance.
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to IT Quality standards, procedures, and process improvements across software development life cycle, with focus on cost, effort, and milestone management.
- Collaborate with local and global stakeholders (QA, production support, environment management, DBA teams) to ensure project stability and oversee day-to-day staff and resource management, mentoring, and career development.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of IT testing experience.
- Bachelor's/University degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of software testing techniques, testing tools, and software development/testing life-cycle methodologies.
- Communication and diplomacy skills required to influence and manage across teams and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with full management responsibility including team performance evaluations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and budgeting within IT Quality or software testing domain.
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of IT Quality concepts and processes with ability to analyze trends and drive organizational process improvements.
- Capable of managing complex, variable issues and balancing prioritization across multiple development streams in a global, matrixed environment.
