About This Role
- Develop and maintain Python-based supply and demand models and price forecasts for crude and refined oil products, focusing primarily on Asian markets.
- Conduct primary and secondary research on crude oil markets, prepare client-facing reports and presentations, and support business development efforts.
- Design and manage PowerBI dashboards and PowerPoint documents to distribute model outputs and research insights to clients and partners.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering, or Petroleum studies; Master's or technical specialization advantageous.
- 3-5 years experience in physical oil markets or a research house with knowledge of oil market fundamentals and value chain.
- Proficiency in Python for data querying and modeling; familiarity with machine learning techniques is desirable.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft applications and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.

- Experienced in building and maintaining quantitative models with a strong analytical and modeling background in oil markets or related research.
- Familiar with oil market fundamentals and able to engage with local and international market players for insights.
