About This Role
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts to identify and respond to incidents promptly, collaborating to troubleshoot and restore services.
- Assist in software application and infrastructure deployment, working with development teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency through automation.
- Support capacity planning and security compliance, contribute to incident documentation and post-incident reviews to enhance system reliability and performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Moderate hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles involving highly available and scalable systems.
- Experience with incident response, automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Git), scripting languages, and version control systems.
- Workplace type: Hybrid working.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Developing technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
- Capable of collaborating cross-functionally for system resiliency, incident management, and operational improvements under guidance from senior SREs.
- Eager to expand skills through training and certifications in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and security best practices.
